Come prepared with hand clippers, saws, lopers and gloves. At 1 pm, we will have a 'bamboo break' and meet inside the garden center for bamboo discussions, show and tell, and sharing of bamboo ideas. Mercer meetings are scheduled for 9 am - 12 pm. All meetings and garden studies are open to the public. Feel free to bring a sack lunch as our meetings are casual. Meetings in the Rio Grande Valley are held at individual homes to grow membership, trade bamboo, discuss what works and what doesn't, and just have fun getting together. Meeting dates and times are based on when we can get together.
This is the big annual festival. It is now being held at Mercer Arboretum in Humble, Texas just north of Houston.
